Lathology

 One is hard pressed to believe that humanity will reach mars before its population reaches twenty five billion. Given the current predictions of population size, if we don’t do something to keep the population rising, we will stay and die with the earth over the long term, utterly destroying the possibility of being an eternal species. A woman is a very difficult organism to deal with. If you make a small mistake in front of a woman, she will compound it and ensure that you are in Tophet for the greater part of an hour. Half your life will be spent simply trying to correct the mistakes that you’ve made. When you multitask, which, for brevity’s sake, let’s consider as doing any activity that involves thinking while engaging in another task for longer than a minute, then the longer the necessity for engaging in that other activity, The greater the likelihood that you behavior will be merely corrective, rather than additive. Let us call this activity Lathology. You are not wasting your time thinking about it, you are merely living another life. In the end, we shirk from the possibility of living in a house larger than Augustus’s, it being considered arrogant.
